Sunland is located in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa close to the Addo Elephant Park and the Sundays River.

Sunland lies in the beautiful Sundays River Valley, which stretches from Addo in the south to the little citrus village of Kirkwood that lies just a little further north west of Sunland on Route 336.

The landscape here is primarily bushveld with stunning panoramic views over private game farms, and farm lands that grow mainly citrus. The valley in October is usually in full bloom, and the Sundays River itself is a source of entertainment with numerous attractions set up along its banks for visitors.

Sunland is within easy reach of Addo Elephant Park, Amakhale Game Reserve, Lalibela Game Reserve, Bush Ridge Game Farm, Crocodile Ranch and the Shamwari Game Park.
