Cintsa is a village in the Wild Coast region of the Eastern Cape Province, South Africa, 38 km northeast from East London. It lies at the mouth of the Cintsa river where it empties into the Indian Ocean. There are two resort areas catering to tourists interested in sea fishing to the east and west of the river. The village is in Xhosa country. It has a laid back atmosphere with low-cost accommodation and immaculate white sand beaches in Cintsa East, backed by forested dunes, lagoons and rivers.
Cintsa is a little piece of paradise in the Amatola & Stormberg Region of Eastern Cape, far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. With beaches, sun and sea, look no further than Cintsa. Accommodation is available throughout the year and boasts fantastic sea views, natural settings and wild life all set in a quiet, peaceful village.
This is a beautiful part of the world. That it has been described as a little piece of paradise is no wonder, and to its residents and return summer visitors, Cintsa offers a haven in a tranquil setting, surrounded by lush indigenous forest and thicket, and an amazing bird life.
