Information on Beachview, Eastern Cape

Beachview is a small coastal village located just west of Port Elizabeth. The combination of game reserves, beautiful beaches, and whale and dolphin sightings in the area mean that you can quite happily holiday here without venturing into the city at all.

This is a coastline of unspoilt sand dunes. A host of adventures include horse riding, mountain biking and birding. Beachview is also close to a number of activities, should you wish to venture out. Maitland is a wonderful sandy beach with a lagoon and some of the most spectacular sand dunes and is less than three kilometres from Beachview and offers a great alternative as Beachview is not regarded as a safe swimming beach, despite its stunning scenery.

The Maitland Nature Reserve offers some fantastic hikes and the Seaview Game and Lion Park provides an excellent place to spot game.
