SAX Arena is the newest addition to Irene’s team of wedding, exhibition, entertainment, conference and/or banquet venues. It joins the African Pride Irene Country Lodge Conference Centre and the Irene Farm Conference Centre in providing a unique, and entirely convenient location for all your eventing needs.
Situated next to Southdowns College and overlooking the Irene Dairy Farm, it takes mere minutes to get to SAX Arena from the N1, and only slightly longer from the R21 or R28, making the venue easily accessible from all areas of Pretoria and Johannesburg.
The Arena is 800 m2 (stage included), and can seat up to 700 people in a cinema style. It also boasts:
a full liquor license
a satellite kitchen
effective sound-proofing (with no noise restrictions)
parking spaces for 600 cars
and a back-up generator so there will never be power outages during your function.
In the surrounding area, there are numerous hotels to accommodate guests. SAX Arena is closely linked to the African Pride Irene Country Lodge and can obtain special rates for conference attendees here.
The venue hire of the SAX Arena includes:
Use of the venue for duration of 8 hours (after hours and overtime hours are available on request).
Tables and chairs set up in your desired arrangement.
All in-house equipment: state-of-the-art sound, lighting and data projector with a 7,5 x 4,5 m screen.
A qualified Audio and Visual technician specialized in our range of equipment will be present at your functions.
This venue is ideal for larger conferences with AV equipment already built into the venue as well as a technician on standby to look after your specific requirements.

Please note this venue does not have any additional rooms, but do have 5 informal breakaway areas on the mezzanine level.
