Built in 1903 in the Cape Dutch Colonial style, Villa Belmonte is an exquisite 5 Star boutique hotel situated in Oranjezicht, a quiet, exclusive residential suburb framed against the backdrop of the world-famous Table Mountain, with magnificent vistas across the port city of Cape Town stretching towards Table Bay. Set in beautiful gardens dominated by a large, heated swimming pool with water features, the Villa is a tranquil oasis, yet is finely located for visits to all areas of the Cape Peninsula and wine lands and is in walking distance to the city centre and close to the waterfront.

All fifteen air-conditioned rooms are en suite and individually decorated with flair, with superb facilities ensuring every comfort and convenience. The gracious lounge, and its cosy bar stocked with rare Cape ports and single-malt Scotch whiskies, is a peaceful haven. For gourmets, the Villa offers fine dining with sublime cuisine, specialising in a variety of the freshest seafood (crayfish and oysters are served directly from the hotel's sea-water tank), enhanced by some of the Cape's finest wines, served in the charmingly restored dining room and on the vast verandah.

For the businessperson there is a well-equipped conference room accommodating up to 20 persons. Secretarial services, supported by a sophisticated Business Centre with a fast Internet dial-up facility, are available in several languages. The new convention centre is a mere 3 kilometres away.

Villa Belmonte is owned and operated by Cliff and Tabea Jacobs, ensuring that high standards of cleanliness, comfort and cuisine, as well as warm, personal service, are constantly maintained. All rooms are en suite with luxurious fittings and fixtures and are equipped with individually controlled air-conditioners, satellite television, mini-bars, safes, radio alarm clocks, heaters, hair-dryers and work desks with foreign plug systems and modem points. Guest facilities include: a large swimming pool, lounge with old-fashioned fireplace, cosy bar, snooker / pool / conference room (seating up to 20 persons, boardroom style, and equipped with a flipchart, whiteboard, screen and overhead projector), huge balconies, wonderful views
of Table Bay, Lion's Head, Signal Hill, Devil's Peak and Table Mountain.

Villa Belmonte is situated 5 minutes from the centre of the city.

Luxury airport transfers may be organised on request.

Unfortunately, we are unable to cater for children under the age of 8 years of age.

No pets are allowed on the premises.

We serve a hearty, " luxurious " breakfast catering to international tastes.
Breakfast times: 7.00am to 11.00am daily.

An innovative à la carte menu is served every evening from 6.00pm to 10.00pm, complimenting our now-famous "La Cuisine Spontanée" menu - our chefs' spontaneous cooking of the evening. Our room service / terrace menu is available from 6.00am to 12.00 midnight every day.

A laundry / valet service is available from 8.00am to 8.00pm daily.

We provide 24-hour manned on-premises security.

Checkout time is 12.00 noon, or later if so desired, subject to prior arrangement with management. Check-in time is 2.00pm.
