Instructions to get to Clara Anna Fontein from Cape Town:

• Travel on the N1 from Cape Town in the direction of Paarl.

• Take the N7 turnoff towards Malmesbury. (Past Century City) 

• Travel on past the Bosmansdam Exit, Plattekloof turnoff and the next exit which is the new M13 Durbanville & Tableview turnoff (Exit #22).  If you by mistake take the M13 exit, you are on Tygervalley Road which will take a detour through Durbanville wine route.  If on this road, turn left at the second traffic light at St John Street and carry on straight.  Follow the sign boards to the Vissershok Road. 

• Rather take the turnoff AFTER the M13 (about 2 kms further).  The sign post reads Klein Vissershok turnoff left and Durbanville turnoff right. Turn RIGHT towards Durbanville!  You are now on the (M48) Vissershok Road. 

• Carry on straight with the M48, straight over the 4-way stop with Contermanskloof/Adderley Street turnoffs.

• Straight past Meerendal Wine Estate on the left side of the road. 

• ± 2 Km after passing Meerendal Wine Estate you will see Clara Anna Fontein’s first sign on the right side of the road.  We have a Zebra prop as a marker!  This will be just after you have passed the turn off to Eureka, Asmat and The Mount. 

Instructions to get to Clara Anna Fontein from the N2 (Somerset West side):

• Travel on the N2 from Somerset West in the direction of Cape Towns.

• Take the R300 turnoff (Exit #22) towards Bellville.  Carry on straight.

• At the end of the R300, take the left turnoff to the N1 in the direction of Cape Town.

• Take the R302, Willie van Schoor / Durban Road turnoff (Exit #23).

• Straight through the robots at the top of the turnoff.  At the 2nd robot turn right into Willie van Schoor/Durbanville Ave.   

• Carry on straight in Durban Road (R302) for app. 10km into Durbanville Main Road.  You will pass over 13 traffic lights.   

• After you have passed the Palm Grove Centre (on your left) you will get to a traffic circle with Durbanville High School on your left.  Continue straight on around the traffic circle.  About 500m further you will get to another traffic circle.  Go around the traffic circle out right on the M48; sign posted Vissershok Road

• ± 700 m down this road you will see our first sign boards on you left with the entrance about another 700 m further on.

Instructions to get to Clara Anna Fontein from the Airport:

• Leaving the Airport, turn right into Borcherds Quarry Road. Keep left towards Bellville M22.

• Turn right into Modderdam Road towards Bellville (M10).  Follow the signs to Bellville for ± 4 km.

• Keep left towards Bellville (Modderdam Road North-South). Go over the bridge, straight on to Voortrekker Road.  

• Turn left into Voortrekker Rd.

• At the 2nd traffic light, turn right into Durban Road (R302) towards the N1.

• Carry on straight in Durban Road (R302) for app. 12km into Durbanville Main Road.  You will pass over 18 traffic lights.
