Situated in the Welgevonden Game Reserve (100 000 ha), Shibula is a mere 2.5 hours north of Johannesburg. Follow the N1 North, taking the Nylstroom Turnoff. Travel through Nylstroom and on to Vaalwater. Pass through Vaalwater and then travel for a further 20 minutes to half an hour until the Main Welgevonden Reserve Gate. Turn left here where you will be met by a vehicle to transport you to the lodge. Three hours from Johannesburg.
