About Cintsa, Eastern Cape, South Africa

Cintsa is a village in the Wild Coast region of the Cape Province, South Africa, 38 km north-east from East London. It lies at the mouth of the Cintsa river where it empties into the Indian Ocean. There are two resort areas catering to tourists interested in sea fishing to the east and west of the river. The village is in Xhosa country. It has a laid-back atmosphere with low-cost accommodation and unspoilt white sand beaches in Cintsa East, backed by forested dunes, lagoons and rivers.

Cintsa is a little piece of paradise in the Amatola & Stormberg Region of Eastern Cape, far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. With beaches, sun and sea, look no further than Cintsa.
