Conference Facilities - The Thatch Guest House & Conference Centre ( Conference Venues and Conference Centres in Centurion, Pretoria )

We are centrally situated between Sandton, Midrand, Centurion and Fourways. We are just off the R28 now N14 highway, taking the Sandton/ Hartebeespoort Dam off ramp. We are in the country on almost 3 hectares of land, overlooking the city of Johannesburg.We can cater for the smallest business meeting of up to 20 people, or for up to 250 people. All the buildings are thatched. We can accommodate 18 people sharing for accommodation, but do have an alliance with other hotels and guesthouses in the immediate area for accommodation up to 60 people. We also have an executive suite with all the luxuries. We have full bar facilities, and the kitchen can provide dinner on request, even if no accommodation is needed. All equipment such as notepads and pens, flipcharts, TV and video machine is included in the venue price. Should you need a LCD projector, this can be rented from us. Seating arrangement can be done in accordance with your needs, either in classroom, U shape or even round table style.

The guest house is situated on 3 hectares of land and features beautiful gardens, a pool and koi ponds. We are only twelve minutes away from the Fourways Mall, and are very close to Kayalami, Centurion, Midrand, Sandton and Roodepoort. The three major Gauteng airports are just a short drive away.

From Bloemfontein, Kimberley, Cape Town

Take the N1 Pretoria (Concrete Highway)
Take the William Nicole offramp and turn left, drive for 11kilometers
Pass Monte casino on your right hand side and pass Indaba Hotel on your left hand side.
Turn right into Mnandi, after Dytona Adventure Park on your left hand side. (You will see the sign for The Thatch)
Drive for 3.7kilometers
At the stop turn left and proceed for 900 meters, passed a blue wall on your left and turn left into The Thatch Guest House.

From Johannesburg:

Take the N1 North towards Pretoria. Take the Olifantsfontein
R562 exit. Turn left at the robot.
Drive 11,4km until you see a long blue wall on your left.
Look for the "The Thatch" sign on your left immediately after the blue wall.

From Pretoria:

Take the N1 South to Johannesburg. Take the Olifantsfontein
R562 exit. Turn left at the robot.
Drive 11,4km until you see a long blue wall on your left. Look
for the "The Thatch" sign on your left immediately after the blue wall.

From Pietersburg:

Travel to Pretoria and get onto the N1 South to Johannesburg.
Take the Olifantsfontein
R562 exit. Turn left at the robot.
